Over 1500 sq. ft. of totally renovated living space in the heart of downtown – all in an award winning building with luxury amenities. Close to $100K has been infused into this 2+1 bedroom suite to create an eye-popping, hotel-chic style that should be featured in magazines.  New pre-engineered hardwood floors and granite anchor the space under soaring 12 foot ceilings.  It’s urban living at its finest.

Enjoy all the space and creature comforts that you can. Switch on the stylishly re-designed gas fireplace and draw the custom blinds to create an intimate feeling. All pot lights are on dimmers to enhance the mood. The master bedroom and glorious en-suite bathroom is only steps away. Both bathrooms have been completely renovated with marble and granite. Glassed-in rain showers, fashionable vanities and modern sconces all add to the flair. New closets have been added for ample storage and the en-suite laundry features a LG 14 cu washer and twin dryer will keep you just as fresh and clean as this immaculate home.

This historic building was started in 1910 and continued expanding until 1949 for the Simpson’s department store (later Sears). Its design is that of the Chicago School architectural style. The architect was Max Dunning who worked for a firm that created other landmark Toronto buildings such as the CITY-TV building on Queen West and Simpson’s department store (now The Bay’s flagship store at the corner of Queen and Yonge Streets) The conversion was completed in the late 1990s, and won several awards including a commendation from Heritage Toronto and awards from the Greater Toronto Home Builders Association. The conversion even pleased the notoriously critical architecture writer for the The Toronto Star newspaper, Christopher Hume, who gave the project an “A”. Since then the building has gone through more improvements including the main entrance to the building. From the moment you walk in to the newly renovated lobby, you know you are in good company….

There is absolutely no need for a gym membership as the exercise facilities include cardio, weights, basketball, and squash all on the same floor as this suite. No need to take an elevator (or stairs) after your workout. The very social “Green roof” area has a pool, patio, dog-walking area, and a 360 degree view of downtown Toronto. The noted interior design team of Simone-Ciccone and the award winning designer Brian Gluckstein produced between them nine different primary suite layouts with over sixty variations. Notable interior features include 8-foot (2.4 m) sliding barn doors, 12-foot (3.7 m) ceilings with exposed duct work and support pillars with capitals, and ten foot windows. The ground floor of the building is retail, anchored by a Metro grocery store. Everything and more – all rolled into one very deluxe package.
